Goodbye Diego and Jay Open
Doug Eckert and Jay Lewis Win! Game in 10 has been the format for many weeks, but on Friday the 13 more time was given: G/29. Three rounds didn't give a clear winner, but we all had fun. Even the TD enjoyed watching most of the games and went home late and won a few games on the Internet.
The final round proved to be very interesting. On board one Doug Eckert fired up a Blackmar-Diemer Gambit against Greg Krog. The game turned out to be a opposite castling position where White had all the play.

Don't miss next week's Dog Day Tornado on Saturday, August 21 1999. Be here at 8:30am for checking in. Walk-ins are allowed to  enter late if they wish. No half-point byes are allowed.
