Why do Some Players hate Blitz or Bullet Chess?
When a chessplayer hates blitz, it must be that there is a certain fear about losing on time. It is less painless than a longer game. The best blitz players don't hesitate. They seem to float through the moves without thinking. Chess sometimes requires quick decisions. A slow game with 40 moves in 2 hours is nice, because 3 minutes per move helps lessen blunders, but with speed chess one must still take a few seconds and look for moves that are forcing like checking the King or taking a piece.
